Mrs. Adriane Porcin – Chartered Administrator – Montréal, Canada

Adriane Porcin joined Lecours, Hébert as a Chartered Administrator (Adm.A.) in 2019. She provides legal research, as well as support in corporate and trademark law to our lawyers.

She has been teaching law in various universities across Canada since 2010: her teaching portfolio includes, among other things, federal corporate law, business law and e-commerce law. A copyright law specialist, she was appointed  to the Copyright Board of Canada as a part-time Member in 2018.

She holds a LL.B. and a LL.M. in business taxation from the Faculty of Law at Université d’Aix-Marseille, as well as a LL.M. in economic law from the Faculty of Law at Université de Perpignan. Though civil-law trained, she developed a solid experience in common law, which enabled her to work as an assistant professor in a common law faculty for four years. She currently teaches common law Contracts at Université de Sherbrooke.

She presently sits on the Board of the Canadian Council for Animal Care (2018-Present). Her past board experiences include the St. Boniface Museum (2015-2018) and Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers (2015-2018). She also is a member of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie Française au Canada.
